Our curriculum
Magical Moments Day Nursery aims to plan its activities with a strong focus on exploratory, imaginative play and healthy eating.
Every child in our care is supported by a key person who understands their individual needs and offers special care and support to them. Health, safety and safeguarding policies and procedures are in place to ensure that every child is protected and feels safe and happy with us.
The children learn through play and our daily routine incorporates a wide variety of activities within our indoor and outside space.
Natural resources have enhanced the small world provision and this is enabling the children to extend their imagination in their play.
Small world and imaginative play help the children to develop relationships with peers and adults, using language and interactions whilst playing alongside each other.
Healthy eating
Promoting healthy eating habits is a top priority at our nursery. We believe that providing nutritious meals and snacks is essential for the well-being and development of young children.
Our menu is carefully crafted to offer a balanced diet, incorporating a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and proteins.
We strive to educate children about the importance of making healthy food choices and encourage them to try new foods and flavours.
By fostering a positive relationship with food from a young age, we aim to instil lifelong habits that support their growth and overall health.
Funded hours
Parents may be eligible for government funding to help cover the costs of nursery and this funding can come in various forms, such as childcare vouchers, tax credits, or subsidies.
The availability and amount of funding can vary depending on factors like the family's income, the child's age and the country's specific policies.
